Oak Grove Smokehouse Gumbo Base
Chicken Gumbo: Combine 2-3 pounds of chicken pieces, 2 quarts water of lightly seasoned stock and GUMBO BASE in 4-quart saucepan. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is fully cooked.
Seafood Gumbo: Combine 1 1/2- 2 pounds of seafood such as shrimp, crabmeat, oysters, etc. 2 quarts water and GUMBO BASE in 4-quart saucepan. Cover and brinig to a boil. Reduce heat and skimmer over Okra, smoked sausage of andouille may be added if desired.
